One of the reasons I took this blog name was to post stuff about the perceptions that people have of the middle of the country. A feature article on the AOL News site talks about the low and high risk areas for real estate price changes. See any differences? Other cities in the low-risk category received better treatment; not sure why Columbus didn't... There are plenty of nice stock photos of it. But then did the article author work to find a representative pic, or just the first one that came up in their Google search? Would a close-up portrait of Frisco's homeless have been an appropriate representation of their city?
